The following general terms and conditions apply to every contract, dispatch and other services.
All items are guaranteed to be authentic prints (woodcuts or engravings), printed at or about the date indicated. Many old maps and prints have minor imperfections of age, which may be not explicitly mentioned; any defects felt worth noting are quoted. Adequate margins for framing may be assumed unless stated otherwise. Dimensions are given in centimeters (height x width), prices are in Euro. An additional 16% VAT on prints has to be paid by customers residing in the EC, unless they can provide a VAT registration number. Payment by credit card (VISA or MasterCard) or by cheque in Euro or using Paypal (in Euro) are accepted. All items are offered subject to prior sale and remain property of Chartamagna until the full payment has been received. All orders will be sent using registered German airmail at customer's risk and expense. Shipment using fully insured mail can be arranged: please, ask explicitly. We do not share any data regarding our clients with anyone for any reason. We do not store credit card numbers on our computers. All items are returnable within three days of receipt, provided they are returned with proper packaging and insurance at buyer's cost (please e-mail us first). Obviously, shipping costs are not refundable.
